Newtown Youth & Family Services’ Safety Town program is a one-week interactive safety education program developed to teach rising first and second graders important life-saving lessons on strangers, traffic, fire, pedestrian, poison, drug, playground, bus and water safety. Safety Town II builds on the original Safety Town program, providing an accelerated curriculum with in-depth lessons on critical life-saving skills and safety knowledge specifically for older children. Your child must be entering first or second grade in Fall 2026 to participate in this program.
Safety Town II is a one week program. You have three weeks to pick from.
Week 1: July 13th - 17th
Week 2: July 27th - 31st
Week 3: August 10th - 14th
